The management of Bermil has been working in the Aviation and Industrial markets for over twenty years gaining experience in handling government contracts, major projects, specialty materials, manufacturing and people management.

Experience gained in dealing with Aircraft OEM’s on the design of new products and technologies for production aircraft, the sales and installation of these technologies to the existing aircraft market and close dealings with the Australian Defence Industry has provided the basis for the company’s success.

Specializing in engineering solutions and improving material and processes, Bermil has been involved in numerous applications on Defence Aircraft and currently support the Royal Australian Navy with the manufacture and maintenance of the SEAKING helicopter acoustic and thermal interiors.

The provision of contract maintenance engineers has grown into the core business area of Bermil Aerospace primarily due to the privatization of the maintenance of Defence aircraft, world events in 2001 and the reduction of available – experienced engineers.

From a small team for a short contract period Bermil Aerospace has continued to recruit engineers and broaden our customer base mainly due to a positive relationship with each engineer who works for us and continually meeting customer’s needs for scheduled and unscheduled work.

The Aviation market in Australia has never been more dynamic than it is today with new aircraft types in both the military and commercial markets entering service, increase in maintenance for existing aging aircraft and a growing demand for a reducing workforce.
